Webster has seen a recent increase in students using vaping devices like the “Juul” to use nicotine during the school day. Curaleaf has donated over $13,000 to the Township of Webster so they can install FlySense; a vapor detecting system to be installed in all of the High School bathrooms. Curaleaf couldn’t be happier to assist in hindering the use of nicotine by high school students!
Curaleaf joined AIDS Project Worcester again this year for their Summer Slam Health Fair, where we happily provided those in Worcester with valuable information regarding the medical cannabis program and how to get started with the process! We love working with AIDS Project Worcester and we are so thankful for all of their work within the community.
Erich’s Cutting Edge, a local hairdresser in Oxford, took part in their annual Buzz Off For Kids with Cancer fundraiser, where locals shaved their heads to raise money for children with cancer. As soon as we heard about this initiative, we knew we had to take part and drop off a donation to help the cause. Thank you to Erich’s for taking on this fundraiser!
This June, Curaleaf Massachusetts completed our second ever Red Cross blood drive right outside of our Oxford Dispensary. We collected enough donations to save almost 60 lives! This would not have been possible without our dedicated employees, patients, and local residents. Thank you all for making this possible.
This month, Curaleaf Oxford collected donations for Friendly House, Inc; the leader and centerpiece of assistance for providing services to Worcester residents. Inner city families turn to Friendly House for a variety of assistance including shelter, emergency help, food, medical care, after school and summer programs, day care, senior programs and counseling. We were able to collect over 10 boxes of donations! Thank you, Oxford patients, for making this donation possible!
For the month of June, Curaleaf Hanover collected donations from patients to benefit the Plymouth Coalition for Homelessness. We are so proud of all of the donations our patients brought in, that we matched the donations we received!
